    A Note About T-shirt Sizes

I use a different system for specifying t-shirt sizes.
My sizes for t-shirts run from 1-4. Please look at the chart below
to find the actual size of the finished garment (plus or mins about 1-2 inches,
which is the common size deviation in custom t-shirts). Here’s how to use the chart:

    1. Measure your bust or hip—whichever measurement is largest on you.
    2. Decide how loosely you like your clothing to fit. This is called ease. A good
ease measurement for a slightly over-sized look is about 4 inches (10 cms).
Pick your own preferred ease and add that to your bust or hip measurement.
    3. Look at the chart below and find the next larger size that gives you that ease
    Here is an example:
I measure about 54 inches across the chest. I like very loose clothing. If I add 4 inches to 54, I get 58 inches.
The closest size to 58 inches for me is a size 4, which has an actual measurement of about 60 inches.
I would order a size 4 for myself.
Below is the manufacturer’s actual suggested for each size.
